In less than half a year I’ve had to say hello and goodbye to souls linked to me and I’ve come to learn that both are rarely quick and definite. 

Goodbyes linger like a fog and once in a while, when you least expect it, you miss someone who you realise isn’t coming back and it aches in parts of your heart that you didn’t know you had. 

Hellos take time to grow. To discover what each other has to offer. And as each new wonderful layer unfolds, a love you didn’t know possible surges through parts of your heart you didn’t know you had. 

And through both experiences you learn, you feel, you live.
