I don’t attend many events. But when these lovely ladies sent me an invite, I made sure to have nothing else planned for this Saturday a few weeks ago.
Started by power team Sabrina Cristobal-Go of Sinfully Sabrina and Michelle Ressa-Aventajado of Momma’NManila, Mothers Who Brunch is a chance for moms to spend a lovely weekend morning learning from each other, partaking in incredible food, and discovering a number of amazing local brands. You can read about the first time I attended a Mothers Who Brunch gathering here.
Held at the Viking showroom in Alabang, the most recent Mothers Who Brunch was made all the more with a special with a mobile photography + food styling workshop conducted by sisters Jack and Jayde of Ten Thousandth Spoon, a food styling Instagram account that is one of my personal favorites. Here are some snaps that capture the beauty of this really fun morning. All photos from super photographer/videographer Jay Santos:
Here’s a video also done by Jay Santos (I told you the guy was talented!):
And here are some iPhone pictures I took from our lessons with Jac who was a wonderful teacher:
I also really enjoyed getting to know other bloggers like Amber of A Momma Abroad and Pam of Green Lunch Diaries while we snapped and chatted away while feasting on a wonderful Filipino themed buffet. Mothers Who Brunch is really one of my favorite events and one that I work hard never to miss.
And of course, none of this would have been possible without these wonderful sponsors:
Shorts Gourmet: Delicious shortbread cookies in a sugar dome.
Burts Bees: I am loving the hand cream I received from this day. I use it every night.
Wooden Canvas: A chance to print your photos on wooden slabs.
Istorya: Pretty jewelry with a Filipino touch
Jam Foods: Delicious tapa that I had for breakfast two days straight.
Alex & Ani: Dainty jewelry pieces with pretty charms
The Coolist: Nifty personalized items like wooden serving boards
Bucket Feet: The cutest slip ons and sneakers done by artists all over the world.
Noteworthy: Pretty little decors that you can use on your gifts and Christmas trees.
Coco Natura Sugar: Delicious coco jam that goes perfect in my morning oatmeal.
Deep Dips by Chef Arnold: These canned goodies are so good. I am in love with everything they gave me from daing to bagoong.
Pastry Armoire: Delicious breads and sweets to satisfy all carb cravings.
Boqueria Lifestyle Market: A food stylist’s haven. Follow them to purchase your own props.
A special thank you to Jay Santos for all these beautiful images.
