Reading: A Constellation of Vital Phenomenon

I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a book this much in a while. The story of a handful of lives weaved together in a small town in Chechnya is so well written that I found myself fully immersed in the tale. Anthony Marra does an excellent job of jumping from years and characters in a way that you don’t lose the heart of his story in the process. It’s not a happy book, but it’s certainly one filled with warmth. I highly recommend it.

A thank you to my friend Lars for giving me this copy!
